So what is Entercom doing on 98.9 since the departure of Hamlin in the morning? I haven't been able to listen. I see Monnie's blog is still on the website so apparently she is still with the station. Let's play musical morning show chairs.... Rick. Rick & Kimberly. Bo Griffin. TK & Monnie. Monnie. Mark & Monnie. They should just air something syndicated because once somebody gets any type of following they change it again. They've already got a hard enough battle going up against Love who has been at WMYI for YEARS and is very good (although I'm sure his show has weakened with it just being him) but not keeping a stable morning show is not good.

And, please, if anybody from Entercom Greenville or WSPA is out there, please, drop those stupid "tags." They're really getting annoying. The station still sounds decent but there are some problems.
 
I agree. Those tags are the stupidest thing I have heard in the new 'lets destroy radio' of the last 15 years!
I never listen to these local FMs at all, but did tune into 98.9 a few weeks ago between 8-9AM. Never heard ONE word, other than those tags, and sweepers. Morning drive???? It sounded like a damn Ipod list.
 
It really is dumb. I hope somebody gets in there and yanks those stupid things. The DJs should be talking about the song and artist, not some tag.

I see Monnie (who did country for ages) is still there, so they apparently plan on doing something in the morning. I haven't heard any changes in the on-air sound there whatsoever.
 
Has anyone heard this "Dude" that Monnie keeps referring to in her blog that is on in the morning? Dude? Who the heck is that? I would imagine it's someone else from Entercom Greenville going under a different name as I've seen nothing online about them appointing someone.
