Magnum Communications Inc. has agreed to acquire three radio outlets in Wisconsin from NRG Media LLC. Included in the deal are 0.5kW WFAW-AM (940) and 26kW WSJY-FM (107.3)/Fort Atkinson and 6kW WKCH-FM (106.5)/Whitewater. NRG Media, LLC, is an Iowa-based company headed by Mary Quass, while Magnum Communications is a Wisconsin-based company headed by Dave Magnum.

"We have been fortunate to have worked with the great people at the stations in Fort Atkinson for many years. The dedicated broadcasters at the stations will continue to provide the Fort Atkinson community with great local radio, and know they will contribute to the success of Magnum Communications going forward," said Quass.

The stations affected by the deal are WFAV, WSJY and WKCH.
 
There is also a CP for 103.3 to rebroadcast WFAW. Be interesting to see if Magnum drops the AM talk format like they did in Racine and West Bend.
