That would make sense. Larry Wilson brought in former Citadel CEO Bob Proffit. Scott used to be the company's Group PD.

So what will be the fate of the WOLF? Mahalick was the first PD to be successfulwith Country in San Freahncisco in over 20 years. Can the WOLF survive without his creativity?

God I hope this is not the beginning of the end of The Wolf. It's a great country station. Incredible imaging, fun DJ's who like to interact with listeners and a hillarious morning show. Maybe they can bump APD Keola up to PD of both The Wolf in SF and Seattle? Anyone know where Scott is headed exactly?

Any word on who some of these PD's are?
Someone Told Me That They Have Had Talks With KATM (Kat Country 103-Modesto) PD Randy "Bubba" Black. Don't Know If This Is True Or Not, However.

Budget would tell me that they will probably go with a PD from Modesto market 150 to market 4 Welcome to the new radio.

Nothing against Bubba or Modesto but wouldn't it make more sense to get a new PD with bigger market credentials.
Mahalcik left big shoes to fill and he must've been making a really huge salary. So they could pay well get a big time PD and still pay less than they were paying.
