MAINE.FM

There's a new internet station in Maine that's All Maine music all the time. It's MAINE.FM. Sean Demery most recent morning host of KMIT Seatle has relocated to Portland and started the station.

So they'll be playing Dave Mallet, Dick Curless, Laurie Jones, Mark Miller, and Loki? Lots of Maine Music out there. Where are they going with it?

Don't forget Oak, The Dogs, Bill Chinnock and there must be others..

What about The Village Green, Chuck, "Natural Day"?

Listened for a bit last night, heard Guster, hate to tell you, guys, but that's not a Maine band. I know Gardner lives in Portland now but . . . kittens . . . oven . . . biscuits . . .

This is a GREAT idea! I remember some really fine bands from my years in Portland: Jimmy & The Soul Cats, Lisa Gallant and the Brotherhood Dogs, and of course Devonsquare, and Schooner Fare.

Nick Seneca

(formerly WGAN, WCLZ and a bunch of other Maine stations)
