to my mind this is further rpoof they'll be trying alt rock in the nyc area based on prior experience, including being the lone ad rep for wrxp 2.0
 
@Luper: The belief has always been that since country was hard to sell to advertisers, nobody took a chance with that format in NYC. Of course, we'll find out if that's still the case if "Nash" is still on 94.7 FM and not relegated to an HD subchannel on 95.5 in a year from now...

That makes as much sense as saying that they are going to try oldies -- since she was the GM of CBS-FM too...
