Surprised no one is on top of this yet, but 107.5 has made the switch to "Majic 107.5 R&B Hits of the 80's, 90's, and today." Interestingly enough, 102.5 is still doing the "Grown Folks" format, but this may be just the beginning of the changes. I listened last night and it was "Smooth Jazz" up until 11pm. When I listened at 3am, it was "Majic 107.5."

Now it sounds like Kiss 104. Lord help us.
I have the Iphone that I got at Christmas, and what I have done is downloaded radio apps from the itunes store, so I can now pick and choose what I want to listen too. I am sick of radio. :(

I'm confused. As a client, I was told by someone high up at Radio One/Atlanta what would happen, and this is totally different from what I was told. Is it a stunt? A new decision? How can a station tell an advertiser one thing and then do something different? It certainly doesn't foster trust.

Hey Roddy,

What was it suppose to be? ???

Roddy reported that Grown Folks Radio would simlucast with and then move to 107.5fm. Then Praise would simlucast then move to 102.5fm. It was then said that 97.5 would simlucast 107.5 so that it would blanket Atlanta through 2 signals.

I wonder if Steve will still move to the bigger signal. If Radio One is serious about going after Kiss then they need Steve on 107.5 fm.
