Don't know about that, but what I would like to know is that nobody has shown me that Tom Collins is actually at that station. Can anyone provide "proof???
I agree with Carolinaradio! Why is it we keep beating this thing to death. Whether WBRF goes to oldies or not or whether Tom Collins is at WBRF or not doesn't seem to make a lot of difference. That station has been country for over 60 years and I see nothing that says they will change. They could do well as an oldies station since there is no competition for them and lots of country competition however heritage will keep them from ever making a change. Anyway, Let's move on and discuss something that has some merit.
Tom Collins IS doing some work for WBRF. As for the statement about 60 years of country music...just look at what happened to WFMX in Statesville several years ago. You may remember it was sold and the format has changed a couple of times since then. But if I was betting my tractor on it, Debby Epperson (owner of WBRF) won't ever change the format.
If you are hoping for WBRF to change formats, think again!, If the person who started this post wants "oldies",
there are many places online, some commercial-free, where you can listen all day and all night.
