Have any cuts gone on at B106.7 or 107.5?

I am surprised B106.7 doesn't have Delilah and/or Tesh. WBBQ in Augusta runs both. I guess that is an option.

Any disagreements are respected. However, it is what it is cash cow or not. Everything is temporary and a leak from management to someone over there is the basis. No details other than some of the salaries....which was not in the reasoning, whatever it was, to let Hunter go. Sad state of affairs.

Wanna start a broadcasting company death watch list, 89?

1. Double O
2. Inner City
3. Clear Channel
4. Citadel

All in order of likely going dark/bankrupt/forced distress sale of Columbia Properties.

How about......

1. Double O/Inner City (Tie)
2. Clear Channel
3. Citadel

That's pretty good. I just don't know how leveraged Inner City is. It wasn't a good sign that they laid off some longtime folks in NYC and SF and own so few stations. They called off the deal to buy the rock station in Jackson, Mississippi. FCC docs didn't say why. There were some potential due diligence issues.

Clear Channel on further consideration may be #2. They must have taken on a tremendous amount of debt to go private. Pretty much the same situation Chrysler is in.

Yeh...a great set of stations over at Inner City and their fate is at the hands of the Corporate know it alls. Same goes for Columbia Citadel. Oh for the days of mom and pops. It is definately worth more than 16 cents a share.

During the first wave of consolidation, they said that more Mom and Popos were failing and the consolidation would make larger, healthier groups. That sure isn't true. The privately held small operations are doing well. It's all how you run the business.

Shame to see what will probably be inevitable cuts at Citadel.

If I had two full-market sticks, I'd be staffing up rather than cutting. As the prhase goes, no one grows a business by cutting back.
