Major announcement from Cox later today

Cox Media is expected to announce later today that they're spinning off several of their radio stations, including 4 TV stations outside the Dayton market. Could the Dayton FM cluster be a part of this?

The only reason Dayton is safe #63 verses Louisville #54 is the Cox family "home" is Dayton.

More likely because Cox owns Radio, TV, and Newspaper media in Dayton versus radio-only in Louisville.

Cox is selling over 30 radio and TV stations and contracts, and buying 4 TV stations. Dayton remains as-is. Dayton has radio-TV-newspapers and other local interests plus this was their first market. According to Radioink.com, they are "realigning their broadcast portfolio to focus on larger markets,cross-media collaboration, and heightened impact in fewer markets". Way too much info to post here so head to Radioink.com for details.
