Major change at CC/Columbus

According to the two lead articles in today's Taylor on Radio-Info, it appears that CC Senior VP Tom Thon is out. He's been the longtime local head honcho for CC, among other duties. Not clear about other local changes, if any.
 
Dave Crowl has ties to Columbus. I believe he worked in sales at WTVN-FM.

I know he was at the same frequency (96.3) at some point after it became WLVQ...as OM, I believe.
 
Couldn't remember how his career played out. I know he was in sales, possibly became GM of 96.3 when Perry Frey moved from Q-FM to TVN AM. I know Crowl moved up the ladder was in upper mgt in Cincy for a while under Taft, Great American and Jacor. Not sure what he has been doing recently. I'm not sure when Tom Thon came on the scene. Just know he's been here a long time.
