Major Changes at TelevisaUnivision Radio

Today, local radio and radio/TV GMs were eliminated, with a new structure of three regional managers for East, Central and West. Local GSMs now in charge of any strictly local needs.

Among the victims was long time Heftel-HBC-Univision manager Mark Masepohl.
 
This will be a common occurrence across the broadcast industry going forward. With so many station functions being centralized and hubbed, as well as automated, there is no longer a need for high level managers at each station or cluster.
