Anyone else notice the substantial rotation changes at Q101?
As of this week, the station has dropped many of the obscure stiffs it had been playing.
I suspect the music snobs will be upset, but from a ratings standpoint, I believe these changes were long overdue. The pseudo-indie sound the station had was NOT working.
The station still plays plenty of Gold, but now that Gold is predominantly stuff from recognizable artists that have relatively mass appeal.
