Good idea, the three Irwin Allen series would be great to see again, Voyage, Land of the Giants and Lost in Space....

What's the story with Mork & Mindy? I NEVER see reruns of that show - is there some contractual problem? If not, I would think it would be a no brainer!

still no wkrp

and for good reason

Why? The stupid music royalties again?

TV Land has too many shows that they do a short run on when they first get them and then they just sit on them. I still believe that they should start a second channel and run the older shows that aren't on now there.

It's worth noting the nighttime schedule will likely be ten or fifteen minutes off due to the commercial load :(
With the poor selection/repetition of tired shows; the 'commercial load'; and the editing to accommodate all those commercials...not to mention the availability of many of the shows on DVD...why on Earth does anyone still watch this channel?

Did they (or will they) have a weekend marathon? Don't they usually do that with a new show?

I won't miss Good Times on TV Land, it's still going to be on TV One, and at least TV One has the non-syndicated edits, unlike TV Land.

What is TV ONE? Is this on a satellite I can pick up? Sounds like it may be a good channel to try to find.

TV One is a Black-oriented general entertainment network, owned by Radio One and Comcast. They feature old sitcoms like 227, Good Times, Martin, and Amen, plus recent off-network sitcoms (mainly from the WB and UPN), however, it's programming strategy is nothing like BET's.

Here's their website:

Newname,

I couldn't have said it better.

I agree too.

I give an example. I have the first 3 seasons of All In The Family on DVD. When those episodes air on TV Land I don't watch them. I only watch AITF episodes I don't have on DVD on TV Land. When I get those (Still need to get seasons 4 and 5; has anybody heard about when more seasons are released on DVD?) I won't watch them anymore on TV Land. AITF is the only show I'm really interested in.

Since TvLand keeps on with the same old STUFF why not go back to the mid 50's TV :Sky King,Highway Patrol,Rescue 8,Harbor Patrol,Tales of the Texas Rangers,I know somebody would watch and the price would be cheaper fot TvLand to purchase.Just a thought from a OLD DJ.

"All In The Family" season 6 will be released in the first quarter of 2007. Don't remember the date. BUT, check out http://www.tvshowsondvd.com and they will give you the full scoop including box art, etc.

Thanks. I finally picked up Seasons 4 and 5 at Barnes & Noble. I searched on that site you've mentioned and also looked on the TV Land message board and it said they're releasing season 6 on Feb. 13.
