Major uh-oh for Sileo potentially...

During the opening monologue of today's show, Sileo and Simon got into a debate about how long Bonds should be imprisoned for if convicted of his perjury and obstruction of justice indictment. When Simon suggested five years, Sileo responded with a clear f-bomb, followed by repeating "lying for steroids" about five or six times. I don't know if someone was asleep at the dump button or if the dump malfunctioned, but could this mean some serious trouble for CC not just in Orlando but in Tampa as well???

No excuse for losing control over such a ridiculous story....

Ok, so tell me again why this town wants to stay in baseball...build another stadium, this one with no parking, demolish the old stadium for an owner that has relied on outside money to keep the lowest payroll in the league.

nope...not even worth discussing even with civil language....

Nothing will happen to Sileo.
He has the worst show in Radio History and he is still around.
There is no doubt that he has pictures of all of his bosses at Clear channel
and he will be on the radio longer than Paul Harvey

Sounds like a "remedy for disaster" to me......

Is radio bottoming out? Nah, I'm sure it can get worse, as soon as one company is allowed to own TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, websites, phone service, cable and satellite providers, billboards, airplane banners, silent radios, etc etc etc in the same market. Just think of the convenience! Just one bill for everything you see and hear from the outside world!! Thank you FCC, you have made our democracy and society SO much richer (or at least the communications industry robber barons). Welcome to the 21st century, Winston Smith.

Careful Misternews...That borders on political comment...they might move you and your dangerous speech to a new forum.

After all Misternews... your in the communications industry, we can't actually have you expressing any different oppions out there...right?(and I do mean R I G H T) I recomend 400 hours of audio exposure from the Red Meat Mother Ship for you. We'll have you thinking like Beck,Rush,Schnidt,Hannity in no time :)

Then your comments will be fair and balanced.

Thanks Ledge, what was I thinking? Must've taken too many pucks to the head last Sunday! Why, with talent like Frank Foster and reasonable humane beings like Savage, radio is just full of intelligence and life-giving sustenance. Why, I wouldn't dream of turning off this medium forever and (voluntarily) abandoning a 28-year career in it! One of these days (months? years?) I might turn my radio back on and hear something worth the cost of the electricity. Except that by then, the oil making that electricity will all be gone... Oops, another political comment. Darn those pucks. I just can't seem to get my mind (what little there is of it) around the fact that the medium "ist kaput", as Sargeant Schultz might say. With only one or two exceptions (Wall of Teeth, are you listening?) there's just nothing worth "hearing" (to use the Arbitron code phrase).Speaking of hearing, did you hear something whiz by? Okay, who shot that? I wasn't even looking!!!

Terrestrial radio isn't bottoming out. It tanked a long time ago.
Syndication ,voice tracking, centralized programming that is cloned nationwide ....
and GOVERNMENT? Proof that anything is possible for a price. There is only one
commissioner in that bunch that doesn't agree with the pack on letting these corporate monkeys have it all and I am not so sure he isn't just "playing" the part.

This is a broadband age. Terrestrial broadcasting is a junk yard.
JUST KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN AND DON'T LET THE CONGLOMS (radio or otherwise)
GET CONTROL OF THE NET.........................after that will come to IPOD police to make sure
you are in line and paying your dues to have freedom!
