Make KISN 96-7 Kiss FM in Bozeman stream please!

Hello I really want to hear KISN 96-7 Kiss FM in Bozeman. Why isn't this station streaming already? Why are MT stations so dead in streaming technology? I mean, come on, stream already! I want to know what is going on with that and I want to hear this station very badly.

Very simple...it cost money and when you have lower revenue in many of the smaller makrets its not a top priority. So when it gets down to it...what really matter is that the market can hear it...not necessarily the world.

I realize that for sure now but I wonder if it costs so much why do some stations even bother with it then?

Because some can make enough money on it to justify the expense. this is a LOT less likely in smaller markets.

Yes, and their (K-96) all night show is really good these days. Some guy does it and calls it the "All Nite Diner"...home of the bottomless cup of coffee...and has some really interesting country news on the program along with all the wide-open country. This fellow is a regular riot!

As someone who started their career at the old KXXL, I would certainly love to be able to hear a Bozeman station in the net. But as a manager of a small radio station, I can tell you that the cost for streaming is a cost we cannot afford at this time. It is in many ways a luxury. There are many other stations that are in the same boat. With budget constraints, you try to make the very most of what money you have, and often streaming is at the bottom of the list.

I wonder if their "All Night Diner" program could by syndicated statewide either by landline, satelite, or internet. I know that the Northern Ag Net is statewide with Taylor Brown, John Polasky, Brian Bennet, and the guys.
