MAKING WAVES: LOUISIANA'S RADIO HISTORY

On LPB Monday night, I ran across a documentary on the past, present and future of Radio In Louisiana. Big hats off to KBON and WWOZ for keeping the consultants out and the listeners in! And now 102.7 out of Crosset Ark. is doing the same free form radio with Rock where personalities can actually do the job they were hired to do(entertain), fielding requests and playing local music. I don't know if PBS plans on re running the program but go to lpb.org to find out.
