Careful, Q! Collinsradio might jump in at some point during this thread and make the announcement that all current Arkansas jocks are nothing more than little-bitty tadpoles just wasting their time swimming around in circles in some murky, dank swamp otherwise known as Arkansas radio.

Collinsradio......"Mister Big-Time Radio", yessiree!!

Ray Lincoln will always be my favorite hands down.

Johnny Story in Russellville has the smoothest delivery of anyone on the air in Arkansas hands down. Yes I am partial because he got me into radio, but he is the man as far as I am concerned.

This could be a LONG list, as quite a few GREAT male jocks have passed through or are STILL in town:

Sonny Martin
George J. Jennings
Ray Lincoln
Craig O'Neal
Tom Gallagher
Joe James (see Joe Bohannon @ WBBM-FM Chicago now)
Don Payne
Dr. Brock (where is Grady these days?)
Greg Thunder
Bob Robbins
Marvelous Mark
Reid Reker
Scott Wallace
Scott Fisher
Tom Wood
Sharpe Dunaway

...and was Steve Stevens on the radio? I remember his tv days...there's a voice...and Bob Buice - that guy had the basso/baritone speaking voice to kill for! (i'm showing my age now.)

I know I'm missing some...memory..attention span...<P ID="signature">______________

David B. Treadway...one of the best EVER! Witty!....Jack Frost...comes across as everyones best buddy.

Frank Woods, on KAAY/Little Rock, from the '70s was the 7 to 11pm jock, Came on right before "Bleeker Street". The guy rocked.

Let's not forget:

Michael J. McCormick
Phil North
Uglee Jerry Lousteau
and the god of those of us who stayed up too late as teenagers, Clyde Clifford.

Re: male jocks (lurking)

Well, I happen to know Scott Fisher is a sometime poster on this board, but I'm not sure he's outed himself so I won't.

I'll never forget the Uglees at the Zoo in the late 80's. The soundtrack of my high school years. Blew KKYK out of the water.

Barry Mac, when he did early weekend mornings at Magic 105 about 10-15 years ago. Very funny guy, and a favorite of my brother and I when we worked nights.

Also Tom Wood of course, and also a nighttime 105 jock from that same era that I've never heard anyone talk about on here: Reed Mitchell.

Yeah, I believe I actually did come out of hiding a couple of months ago, but in a very quiet way, just in case there were any bill collectors and/or still-jealous husbands out there.

I think the statute of limitations has run out on most of it since 1986...but still, send me unmarked bills (10s and 20s) and I won't go into further details on the board.

Such as the Holiday Inn North Little Rock.

Well, if the truth were known, we hung out a bit together so I'm sure he could return the favor.

OK, I have to admit my interest has reached its peak on just who you are, not to mention how much you know!

Okay I'll come clean...I'm actually "Baby Dave" Felder...

Just when I thought I had covered my tracks pretty well for all these years. How're you doing, man? Hope life is treating you well. And just to set the record straight, I retired from the Army a long, long time ago. Age and extra weight has a way of doing that to you.

Now, I believe it's time to go back into the shadows. That's where living down here at the last outpost of modern civilization has its advantages. Besides, there's a hurricane coming, and that means I've got some serious drinking to do.
