Malware alert from Google for this forum

since April, i've been getting malware alerts
accessing this site. i obviously don't know
why (even though Google tries to explain).
any ideas? is it serious?
 
I've been getting them as well, I have no clue why.

For everyone using IE, Firefox, Safari, etc... are you guys getting anything similar? ???

Firefox....and Yes, over last few weeks I get a virus alert every time I log on :-\
 
based on Google info...
it's the advertisements. you know, banners and whatever.
apparently, this forum doesn't back-check its ads.
c'mon people. that's expected in 2013.
there's an ISP price to pay.
 
Some BAD GUYS will buy ad space, running legit ads for a few days, then pop a virus in. I got hit by that ONCE. As a result, I only use trusted ad servers, even though I might make more money off other ad companies.
