Man...that Lisa Wells on WLW needs a voice coach

"First female on 700WLW?" What about Lynn Gladhill, the psychic who didn't know she'd be fired for showing up after downing a sixpack of PBR?

Obviously someone is not old enough to remember Ruth Lyons. Quick! Buy her the DVD!

I am guessing there are some who prefer a haus frau or narcissistic idiot who would rather discuss her body and other shallow, useless pursuits, than a legal mind who demonstrates her intellect from which people might actually benefit and learn something?

I agree. WLW is not known for having anyone who has an intellect on air as a talk show host. As far as what she looks like, who cares it's radio, not television.

Anyone who thinks commercial radio is for teaching hasn't learned the first lesson: it's about entertainment.

Hovering in the 10-share neighborhood for thirty years tells me 'LW has it pretty well figured out.

Right; she chooses her associations carefully and is a business woman as well as a legal mind.

I was going to mention her. There was also Jane Norris who did the noon show on saturday ahternoons from WHAS.

I think Marty Brennaman brought his granddaughter into the booth several times.
