Man Unhappy With Playlist Sets Fire to Station

 I would love to see that playlist....this person takes his music serious

Talk about "Hot Hits!" ...

so what were the last songs played before the station went up in flames:

I can hear it now, EW&F "FIRE...."

followed by the Bloodhound Gang.."we don't need no water let the mother f**ker burn"

I said should he seek proffessional help. Had he burn down an All News or a News/Talk radio station, to me, he would've been beyond any means of proffessional help. All this over a silly playlist. Sad.

What are the odd that he'll get a job in radio once he gets out? You KNOW he will! It's funny how some people do the dumbest "career ending" acts always find a job somehow.

Here's the oddball, disturbing thing: 1) He's a jazz fanatic that wanted his show called "Mellow Down Easy" yet he wasn't mellow enough to rationize burning down the station won't get your playlist on any faster. 2) He's a 24 year old that's a jazz fanatic who wanted to call his show "Mellow Down Easy"!

Either way, I've got to agree with Tom the Engineer guy: "That's funny right there, I don't care who you are."

I've worked at stations which had playlists I have hated. But I didn't fault them too much (until they went corporate, then I REALLY hated them.)

But c'mon! A little ol' public station? Now THIS is no way to make it to KPLU (one of the hottest jazz radio stations in America.)

THIS does nothing to benefit jazz. America's classical music. How DARE he!
