"Man Up" - It'll Be Gone By Halloween

Well they do have 5 more episodes left before "Work It" takes over on January 3, 2012. However, The Futon Critic left the remaining 3 airdates (December 13, 20, and 27) listed as projected dates, so whether they'll be new episodes, repeats, or be shelved altogether is up in the air and ABC has been shuffling the deck with the episode list.
Meanwhile, TV By The Numbers already has it listed as cancelled anyway...

I'm glad I hated it, because my TiVo was deleting shows as fast as it could record them. I had to just start watching shows and movies and buy a new VHS tape for some of the other stuff I wanted to tape. I should have never let things get so bad.
At least with "Last Man Standing", "New Girl", "Raising Hope" and "Glee" I know I can see reruns. Ironically, I could have taped all of them off the air if I had known, and maybe the DTV signals would have been acceptable. I've had a lot of good luck lately.

It looks like ABC has pulled episode 8 from the December 6 schedule and replaced it with episode 9. Sounds like they want to get rid of this show fast.
And they're advertising "Work It!" as the replacement show. I'm looking forward to it. I liked "Bosom Buddies".

Either way, it was doomed from the start. One gets the feeling that "Work It" will suffer the same fate. ABC needs to find a better companion for "Last Man Standing" and so far they're striking out big time.

And my point was that the premise of "Man Up" coupled with the fact that they put it on right after "Last Man Standing" sounded like they just took four guys off the street and just threw a show with the same target as "Last Man" on the air after it. Backfired. Like I said.
