Mancow and Clear Channel?

This according to a Mancow.org post claiming to have inside knowledge of the situation regarding Cow's absence this past Friday...

"Clear Channel has requested an emergency 'strategy session' since David Lee Roth's show has tanked so badly. They have significantly sweetened the deal for Cow."

According to Mancow.com's schedule for Monday, the show will be another re-run.

Do you mean CBS Radio?

Because David Lee Roth is on CBS Radio's Free FMs out east.
______________

I would assume so. I just copied and pasted.

Heh, I guess that shows you just how credible the sources are.

How could you judge DLR's show so quickly? It's only been, what, a month and a half? Have the trends even come out yet?

How much potential can a non-radio guy who puts no work into his show really have?

Get back to your original point: Cow isn't going anywhere.
Unless you are suggesting that Emmis wants to dump Q101
entirely. I would not be surprised since there is precious
little else on the station that pulls numbers EXCEPT Cow
and he is costing huge dollars. Still, I doubt that CBS
wants to cut bait so fast.

About as much as Mancow and Stern did the 1st time they cracked open their mike. And years later, look where they are at!

Potential is in everyone. It depends how they take it to the next phase, learn, grow.
______________

Ever listened to Nights with Alice Cooper? Great show. Carried by a lot of stations

I'd love to see the trends in Dallas after he insulted one of their favorite co-hosts.

Does that mean the CBS stable will include Mancow and Rover, who go head to head in Chicago? And Rover's deal moved him to Chicago, so I doubt there's much wiggleroom for a while to just boot him.

I thought I heard Cow today mention some trip to France he just got back from. Either it's a ploy or this rumor was totally bogus. I'm going to lean toward the latter. Sorry if I got anyone excited.
