> I hadn't listened to the Doghouse in a long time - I remember that they could be funny. But I don't think it's a stretch to assume that a lot of the people who act like "total jerks" on the radio may actually be total jerks in real life...especially after they get successful and have grown huge egos.
I remember a prank call they pulled some years ago where one of them pretended to be a school Principal, and called the father of an elementary school girl. They purposely insulted the girl to the father, calling her stupid, ugly, etc. By the end of the call, the father was seriously angry, and promised to come right down to the school and beat up the Prinicpal. I know prank calls are pre-recorded, and obviously they stopped the angry guy before he beat up the Principal, or we would have read about it in the newspaper. But still...the Doghouse caused the father some serious emotional distress, insulted some poor third grader, and could have endangered the Principal's life and sent the father to prison. They didn't play the part of the call where they told the poor schlub that it's a joke, and he's on the radio. I imagine that's because he responded with profanity, and threatened to come to to Wild and beat THEM up. Does anyone find that kind of s--- amusing?
You guys keep saying what a dumb move it was to let the
