Just heard an interview with Mancow on Kevhead.com and he listed Houston as one of his "coming" syndications. What station would he be talking to?

My first guess would be KBME; Clear Channel recently placed Mancow on their Sports Station (570) in Los Angeles. My other guess would be one of the Cox properties (if one flips to Active Rock).

However KBME has been heavily cross-promoting their two morning shows (ESPN's Mike and Mike, and the Fox Morning Extravaganza) on Charlie Pallilo's afternoon show, including weekly interviews with those shows' talent. Seems they wouldn't be doing that if a switch was coming...but who knows.

Yeah, I don't think it would be KBME. Mike & Mike's morning show is extremely popular nationwide and very entertaining. I doubt it would be a Cox property, because I think Mancow's program is rather steep (cost wise). Cox is notoriously cheap. I'd rather hear Mancow than W&J on KIOL, but I don't see that happening. Who syndicates Mancow? That might tip off what station he lands on.
______________

This station is poised to go CNN Radio, as soon as Stern exits to Sirius. I seriously doubt that they would go in that direction. Not to mention, the only reason 650 is airing Stern is that WW1 syndicates Stern, which WW1 is owned by Viacom/Infinity, who also owns 650. Mancow is not syndicated by WW1, I do know that much. They'd have to pay a lot more for that show. It won't happen there.
______________

how about THE POINT when it flip to end the pain. They do not sound like they enjoy themselves at all. The can only talk two times a hour. They need to be put to rest and move on!

As I said in my previous post, Cox won't do it. They are too cheap.
