MANCOW in NOLA

Did anyone else go see the CowMan at harrahs this morning? I passed thru around 8 15, had about 50-60 people it looked like. Got some free food from some chef and the preservation hall band was there. thought they put a good spotlight on the city, sounded good on the air anyway

Well, instead of being negative, I'll be positive: 50 or 60 people is 49 to 59 more than Eric and Kaare get at their Sports remotes. I wonder how many of the 50-60 people were homeless and just there for the free food.

Seriously, 50-60 people (including station staff and hangers on) to see the Governor, Emeril, Paul Prudhomme, live music, and a morning drive personality...That shows the amazing pull and tremendous promotional ability of WIST. I'm sure this afternoon, Dan Frazier and the gang are patting themselves on the back.

What kind of a name is Mancow? MAN-COW. A cow is female and has udders. Does he??

"The Cow" was huge in Chicago on 103.5 The Blaze before his on-air meltdown. That's when he moved to Q101 and things steadily went down hill. He's now more political than anything. He also has appearances on Fox News from time to time.

The guy also rocked KC and San Fran for years before landing in Chicago. In the early to mid 90s it didn't get much better than Mancow's Morning Madhouse.
