Shock jock Erich "Mancow" Muller will be doing a weekly local show on 77 WABC on Sunday nights 6-9 PM starting this week:

Ironically, Mancow was let go from WABC's sister news/talk station in Chicago earlier this year.
Note that this will not be the first time that Mancow will be heard on New York radio. Back in February 1996, during the weeklong transitional period between 103.5 WYNY dropping its longtime country format and becoming the current WKTU on February 10, the frequency had simulcasted other co-owned stations across the country from Monday morning until Friday evening. The first personality to be heard on 103.5 after their last country song was Mancow and his "Morning Madhouse" on the now-defunct WRQX "Rock 103.5" in Chicago. (The remainder of the week's simulcasts were KKBT "92.3 The Beat"/Los Angeles on Tuesday; WLUP "97.9 The Loop"/Chicago on Wednesday; KIOI "K-101"/San Francisco on Thursday and WXKS "Kiss 108"/Boston for most of Friday; the heartbeat loop started Friday evening at around 6 PM.)
