RIGHT.

THAT WAS BEFORE THE 103.9 SIGNAL UPGRADE.

AT THE TIME, I DIDN'T CARE FOR HIS PROGRAM.

HIS SHOW SEEMS TO BE GETTING ALOT OF ATTENTION, NOW THAT HE'S ON TALK RADIO NETWORK

I'M SURE HIS SHOW HAS EVOLVED A BIT SINCE HIS LAST STINT IN PHOENIX

Perhaps 96.3 after they get 100kW.

KSWG/Wickenburg is upgrading soon to gain east valley coverage as well. I would think the ABC Real Country format, which suits Wickenburg and does pull in a small share in Phoenix thanks to coverage in the NW valley, would need to go seeing that KNIX and KMLE are always closely in competition.

Real Country plays DEEP into the oldies compared to any other country station within earshot of the Valley. KNIX and KMLE have long forgotten the music of Waylon, Willie, Merle Haggard, Don Williams and more.

There's PLENTY of room in this market for KSWG's Real Country...and I listen to their 6300 watts from East Mesa. That's not exactly "next door" to Wickenburg!

I don't recall seeing any marketing for 96.3 anywhere. It's a miracle that the station shows at all in the ratings and that tells me there is definitely room for a classic country station in the valley.

Anybody have an idea when: 1. 96.3 will be increasing power and 2. What kind of signal they'll have?

They're upgrading to a different signal class and will be 100kW with a taller tower.
