Reflective of this climate is the radio station wtkk ( wtkkk) , a nest of the good ole white boy cronyism///radio racists from graham to barnicle to severin, who goes unchallenged calling mexicans wetbacks
no big surpise that WTKKK stood firmly in suport of that racist fossil imus..I say boycott that kluxing dump of a radio station

Howie must be orgasmic. His column yesterday was the steak knife twisting in Donny's intestines.

Not looking to start World War III here, but how many African-American radio talk show hosts are there? And what kind of clearence do their shows enjoy? Walter Williams springs to mind, he has (may still) do fill-in for Rush. Jimmy Myers, probably in the top 1% of sports-talk hosts, who else?

This whole Imus thing, as stupid ugly as it clearly is, will only serve to polarize the races further. The "dialogue" proposed by Rev. Sharpton sounds good, but I think some of our jaded minds (and perhaps, souls) are left simply shaking our heads. Everyone will retire to their respective ideological foxholes and nothing will change.

Boston a rascist city? Were you around here 20-30 years ago? A black man being "run though" and beaten on the CITY HALL STEPS! Things have improved since then. Yes, and there's still 100 years more work to do.....

there's been some improvement and South Boston is more diverse than it used to be. As for black radio hosts, isn't Larry Elder a host? Also, locally, Michael Holley on WEEI and Larry Johnson's appearances on WEEI... Lovell Dyett... Morgan White Jr. when he fills in...

Wow, you dont' know Boston real well do you. Southie's Irish Americans are being priced out by yuppies. The sherriff is a Cape Verdean woman. We have gay marriage for goodness sakes. This is no longer 1975.

Maybe "Hymietown" (Have you heard? He's "sick & tired" of hearing about the Holocaust) can get some help from "diamond merchant" AKA "white interloper" and get rid of these people, too...well maybe when they are done setting up that scholarship fund in the name of Crystal Gail Magnum after that horrible ordeal she suffered through.

While they drive to Boston to perform this cleansing of the Boston airwaves, they can listen to JAM'N 94.5 so they can hear Ho's in the RIGHT context.

As one who has lived in Southie for the past 35 years, yes that is true, but not to the extent that people think. Most of the "diversity" is limited to the projects, which true Southie people stay away from unless they're buying weed. Actually, most of the actual diversity in Southie outside the projects is in the northwest part of the neighborhood where I live. Maybe it's just me, but it seems that gays and (especially) those snotty trust-funded "kids" from Cambridge and the rich suburbs are moving in en masse. As for the Irish-American Southie people (including relatives of mine), they're moving to all-white towns like Abington, Scituate and Marshfield. Don't believe me?
