I was in the Denver area about a month ago and heard Mandy doing a morning talk show on KHOW. She said she was filling in....or....Was she really trying out for the job?

I think she had been fishing around for another job for some time. I've heard her filling in on Andy Dean's national show, and Leland Conway's show on WLAP.

I agree. He was great on WLAP. But 2 women in a row have had the 9a-noon gig on WHAS so I'm betting on another woman. Tara Servatius maybe?

I agree 100%, Joe consistently creates an informative show. If I don't hear it live, then I listen to the podcasts.

Joe seems like a nice guy, but he doesn't fire people up. Talk radio is all about stimulus and response.
 
I like joes show but mandy's style and joe's style are night and day!!!I really liked mandy's style. Her snarkiness was really funny. At first when francene was gone i wanted them to hire joe but after listening to mandy i just like her style much better and was glad they got her to take over. Joe made the right choice to move on.

I remember when mandy started and she described herself as a left footed hippie liberal to funny.
 
Nope not yet they are trying different hosts out. I like this dude casey bartholomew the best so far we shall see. I have not heard any women yet. Heck i would be happy to se jane norris return but i think mandy in the nineteen year history of the 9-noon talk show was the best out of the four hosts.
 
If whas was smart they would have kept the sunday morning talk show with leland or someone else. Sunday mornings are just god awful on 84 whas. They should be ashamed of themselves the trash that is on the station on sundays till noon. Absolute garbage and there is no need for it. They could have got leland or someone else after joe left but no they got rid of the show for some god awful crap and thats what it is!!!

Back when I was in radio, there was virtually no revenue attached to Sunday mornings, unless a station sold half hour blocks for church services. I suspect most stations dedicate their limited resources to more important dayparts.
 
Now i see why yarmuth quit going on mandys show he had an op ed in the courier today and all he did was lie about obamacare!!! Worst thing ever passed by any president!!!
