2012
KEYC-DT2 drops JewelryTV secondary (they actually started phasing it out earlier to the point it would be maybe a couple hours on the weekends. Previously on non Fox network programming weekends it would be on from noon until at least 6PM. Now they show syndicated programming
real easy one as there is only one station in the market
Minneapolis stations are 75-80 miles away and are imported on cable/satco
story on KEYC-DT2. They originally were going to add CW+ on the DT2 and were all set to sign the paperwork when Fox came brought them a offer at the 11th hour (literally 11:59) and they decided to go with Fox (good choice)
Also the stations sigh off every night at 1:07 (usually 12:37 on Sunday nights) and signs on at 5AM. The OTA signal goes off but cable/directv/dish they show paid programs during this time. Its funny to see the sign off, then a paid program is joined in progress. At 4:57AM the paid program cuts off as they do sign on then. Ironically KEYC-DT2 (Fox) doesnt do paid programs and all that you see is color bars or the logo (depends on the day)
