manual for BE AM 6A TX

Anyone know where I can find a operating manual or something with the jumper settings for a BE AM 6A Stereo AM TX? No responce from BE and can't find a thing on the net.

Thanks for any help.

I just installed a 5A not too long ago...I'm sure it's similar, except for additional PA modules. I can run down to that facility to lookup some jumpers.
______________

I appreciate it if there are some similarities that will help. What I need to do is find the jumpers to take it from manual to remote. I just need the remote to raise and lower the tower.

Right now, I have the remote tied in the back based on the names, but when I flip the switch in remote, the fwd power mute kicks in.

There's two sets of dip switches along with a few jumpers un-jumped.

Thanks again for any help,

-Doc

I wasn't aware of my jumpers that affect the manual/remote switch. I thought the ones on the controller board just affect the power levels and such.

The printed layout of what does what on the wire strip doesn't line up correctly on mine...make sure the wires are going to the right ins/outs. Also, is the failsafe/interlock/antenna selection wired correctly?
______________

Doc you dont have a phone # on your website
you can send it to my Email [email protected] we can talk
I have the BE AM1 and I have the big brother BE AM10 same as the 6 your in question of.
something is not wired correctly. you need to take a jumper between the +5v terminal and the remote terminal on the exciter cage frame to make the remote switch work. if you Flip the remote switch on the ECU controller board On the far Right as your looking at it from the front. if you Flip this switch UP to the remote position you should get the green LED just aboove it to light up.
If this LED does not turn on and off with turing on and off the remote switch.
then this jumper is missing... the BE transmitters need to see a high +5 for the functions to work ( most transmitters need to see a LOW or ground) to trigger the remote functions.. If your Foward power is muting the jumpers on the back are not Correct..
you can get my Cell # off my website

Doc,

The remote failsafe input at TB-1-28 needs to be jumpered to TB-1-30 on the rear of the ECU/Controller or connected through a failsafe closure if your remote control has one. The DIP switches and jumpers in the ECU assign other things besides remotes
