Many of you won't care, but so be it

June 6, 3 p.m., I will return to my old stomping grounds for one last show on WGMR before it leaves the family.

Some of you will say who gives a crap, some of you are very good friends and if you feel like coming by the station, please do.

I hope to hear from some of you and even meet some of those who I have sparred with on here.

AJ just a heads up, I will be there, with my AKG's.

That's nice. Really, very cool. There are probably many on this board who would have loved to have had the chance to do a "last shift" at an "old stomping grounds" station before it morphed into whatever was next. Have fun.

What hours will you be on? What station? AM or FM? Will you take calls from folks "wishing you well"? If so, what number? I'll have to see where I have the fry wagon set up that afternoon. I'm also getting into sweet potato fries this season!

Do you do the fries like they do at the Juniata County Fair with the skin on the fries?

How about funnel cakes?

No, I peel the potatos. I learned everything I know from the late John Price of Johnny's Fries. I've never been to the Juniata Fair. How do you pronounce it..."Wah-neeta"? Will you be taking calls...seriously. I'll call if you've got room for a fry man on the program.

Is June 6th, the final farewell for WGMR as we know it?

If so, are their any other old jocks from the past making a final adieu on this date?

June 6th is not the final date, and look for other old jocks to be making appearances as we go through the summer

Congratulations John! That will be fun to listen too, and your are THE last person who should be on there before the switch.

"Old jocks"? Just what are you trying to say?

Now Now Dave don't get your depends in a bunch... ;D

"Old" as in former, but then again you knew that..hahaha

You ought to get Rrrrrrrrrrr JJJJJJJ Haaaaarkens back on the ether for the final days of WGMR as we know it Where is Haaaaarrrrrrkenssssss these days?

How about Doug Kabo aka Johnny Walker? Any word on where he's at these days? He did PM Drive @ The Revolution back in ~1998-99 briefly, he was on QWK for several years before that. He was one of the greatest DJ's I'd ever heard.

His father, John Kabo ran a TV/Radio outfit out of Johnstown in the 50s and 60s too I believe.

Also, anyone heard from Matthew Haywood, he'd be another good one.

BTW - what's up Hollywood ;D, sounds like your doing well with the latest gig. I wish I was back home to tune into your grand finale.

I have asked Haywood and he is considering it...Raynor PM me I have a question for you
