Detroit
WXYT stays on top and shows a gain with an impressive performance. WOMC sees a small drop but remains in 2nd. WNIC made up ground and is nipping and WOMCs heels. WYCD seems to be shaking of the rust, notching a good gain for the 4th spot and WMXD rounds out the Top 5.
Of additional note: WWJ stays in the Top 10 in the 7th slot. A good showing for an AM. ALT remains well above a 3 share. At this point, I think it's reasonable to assess that they have met and mitigated any threat from the reborn 89X. I doubt any format change is in order with these numbers. WLLZ, surprisingly is basically flat. iHeart has upped advertising of the station and WCSX has seen falling numbers. That audience is clearly opting for WXYT or WOMC instead of WLLZ.
Cumulus stations remain absent from the ratings as their protracted dispute with Nielsen continues.
