Marathon Don

Congrats on the gig man.You will be working with some good folks at KIX.Wayne,Jerry,Kari,AW, Deebea,Donna(watch her) :D.Johnston don't like me much
for some reason..I haven't spent 3 minutes in his presence and he acts like I'm trying to steal corporate secrets for Bin Laden but you will enjoy most everyone in Goldsboro and you'll be great. You will work with some cool people....

Always good to get a gig. Congrats Don. I worked for Curtis at WQDR. Please give Wayne Alley my best. He is a good guy. I don't think I know anyone else at KIX, unless Mike Farley is still there!

I enjoyed my time with Curtis.Tony Denton was great to work for.You worked hard but it was a fun atmosphere and he had everyone's respect because he earned it.Curtis is a good company.I never saw Don or Phil but like twice.Don, I think you'll like it because again you are working with some quality people and people tell me you are a great guy.

Thanks, folks. I've been off the air for ten years, so this is gonna be like starting over. I'll be taking Mike Farley's old slot. He's no longer with the company.

Everyone's been super nice so far. I'm not sure if Mr. Johnston (don't know if I can call him "Bill" yet) knows what to make of me yet. Oh, well. If it only lasts a week, at least I can say I tried. This might be, to use Gilligan's Island lingo, "a 3 hour tour"!

Now if I can just resist the urge to say "96.9FM, Katie Country, WKTC"....

Don

You will be fine Don. :) I once was working at 3 country stations at one time. WQDR, WKIX (when it was still in Raleigh) and did weekends at WRNS since I had a home in Kinston. I'm proud of myself in that I never said the wrong calls on any station.

Glad you're back on the air!

Firecop.
