Marc Levin most under-appreciated host!!

I know that Levin has achieved much success and even had his show expanded to three hours, but he does seem to fly under the rader compared to his compatriots. Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck get the most media coverage. Sean Hannity of course is one of the top people in the industry even though Levin does the better show. Even John Batchelor recently has gotten positive media coverage with talk of his ratings, and David Hinckley of the Daily News praising Batchelor for running an intelligent program.

But again Marc Levin conducts the better program. The other day I tuned in and it was great. Levin as usual was bellowing at the top of his lungs at some liberal caller who told him that even if you disagree with Obama you have to respect him because he's still the president, " Oh shut up you stupid idiot. I'm sick and tired of you libs." Ha Ha. Marc Levin's abrasive nature is radio at its finest and is superior to the stuffy Batchelor program.

Levin is just as bad as Limbaugh and Hannity. They're all cheer leaders for the Republican party and all they do all day is ram their ideas down your throat and tell you you have to accept them. If you don't think like they do, you're not a good American. As a matter of fact, Limbaugh, Hannity and Levin are the big three of the talk radio syndication cesspool. Oh and, by the way, it's **radar** not rader.

oh yea, and lib talkers are so good about not doing any of that ::)

Both Sides Are Relatively nuts...
One Side Is So Stuck up in their ways that they won't make room for change for the better,
one side is so stuck up about changing everything that they spend all the cash we dont have...
and don't take time to look what they destroy by changing everything...

I kind of hate the word "Change" now,
Reform sucks too...

Please don't misunderstand me. I'm not a big fan of liberal talk radio either. I think both sides are nuts and they should all go away. Actually, it's the syndication that I hate. If a talker is local, I really don't care what side he takes, as long as he's talking about local stuff that I'm interested in. And as long as I can get my two cents in without worrying about some nut in another part of the world also trying to call in.

Facts are facts. The conservative talkers win because they just are more entertaining. That's why Rush, Sean, and Marc score well in the liberal hotbed of NYC. And since the area between the coasts is mainly "right leaning", their ideology is also what wins out.

Let's not continue to make this very common mistake and confuse "entertaining" with "pleases the niche".

Many of these syndicated right wing (and left wing) talkers are predictable and somewhat boring as a resilt. AN intelligent person may be interested to hear how they spin something for their own benefit, but beyond that, they are often quite disingenuous and inaccurate.

Many major talk stations did at least as well ratings-wise before they were overrun with ideologues. WABC, for example, had much higher ratings before they became a conservative echo chamber. That's not a knock on conservatism, but rather on this monothematic drumbeat you get all day long. I don't know why anyone who exercizes any critical thought would bother to listen left or right spin machines. Boring.

I like listening to Mark Levin because its my nap time when he is on. Zzzzzzz.....

Levin rode the coattails of Hannity on getting stations when Citadel was engaging in the practice of cramming ie if you air Hannity, then you must air Levin! Sure he has some notable traits but he's nothing spectacular, just run of the mill in my opinion. Only thing interesting from him was his criticism of Savage and Beck.

Likewise, the guy's name is MarK, not MarC. It says so right on the cover of his New York Times best-selling book. ;D

I can't separate Mark Levin from Beck and Savage. I think Savage is the guy who will talk about things, not political from time to time. Beck is another Limbaugh clone without the humor. Levin I don't know about. Doesn't he often give history lessons like a history teacher?

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

No, I think you're probably thinking of Savage.

They both do it on occasion. Levin likes to come across as the professorial type (except not like those elitist east coast Harvard types, right? ;D), but his nasal whine tends to detract from the act.
