The usual suspects are at the top of the ratings, B101, followed by KYW, WDAS, WOGL, and WMMR. 5.0 for WRFF, with more cume than KYW.

Mix continues to drop, while Ben is rising, past them. Was only a few months ago that many here were asking who Greater media would flip first, Ben or pen-fm.

KYW cume slips below 1 million. WRFF's cume jumps over 1 million. More people listened to WRFF and WRDW last month than listened to KYW (though obviously the people who listened to KYW listened more).

WIP-A-F is a 3.4. Same as last month. WPEN-A-F 1.8, up a tic (0.1 on the FM side) from last week. I think WIP will see a bump from Phillies games.

You have to wonder how much lower than 1.8 would the ratings go if this station was only on 950 and not on 97.5.

WPHT still cume-ing at ~378k, which is remarkably low for a 50 kw clear channel station in a market with 4 million people. As has been the case the past few months, WHYY has more listeners than WPHT. We'll see if that goes up substantially during baseball season now that the games are also on WIP-FM, which may be counteracted by the Rush Limbaugh situation.

I take it that Philly is now a "subscriber only" market for Arbitron, as numbers are no longer listed for a fistful of minor players (the Salem stations, WSTW, all the Lehigh Valley and NYC stations, WURD, WEMG, etc.)

As of March all markets PPM and book only show the numbers of those who are subscribing for the public released numbers.. Subscribers still have access to everything..

yeah if 97.5 would be flipping within the foreseeable future, i think they would've flipped last summer or maybe even earlier than that. I would hate if 97.5 flipped it's my favorite station

97.5 is doing well as the #2 sports talker and they don't even have any teams, 97.5 is staying for at least another year.

They don't incure the huge expense of pro sports programming and still have desirable demographics. They are in for the long haul. While it was a good idea to hook up with ESPN when that occured, does anyone know when that deal expires?
