What?? Why is KNBR down in the ratings basement below Asian language stations, suburban stations and the KQED stream?

Must be some kind of glitch or statistical anomaly.

Also I know Monty would cross promote KNBR 680/1050 on his KGO show whenever he wants to talk about sports. Also its baseball season I would think KNBR would get higher ratings than this.

KNBR must not be an Arbitron subscriber. Arb is no longer listing non-subscribers numbers for public consumption. KNBR doesn't buy Arbitron and is one of the top billing stations in the country! The Arbs are pointless for local revenue generation.

KALW is listed and I doubt they have enough money to afford to subscribe. Do KKDV/KKIQ/KUIC subscribe? I doubt they would given that they sell locally and the coverage of each is just a small fraction of the market. Even together they don't even reach half the market.

I think there's an error somewhere.

Okay, I just went to the Arbitron website and indeed they now say that PPM listing are shown only for subscribing stations and for non-comm consortium members, which explains why KALW shows. But as for the absence of KNBR, that must be an error because it does show on the Arbitron webpage.

Per posts on the Dallas board, there is some issue with Cumulus in certain markets.

Arbitron is very valuable in local agency business, as well as with large clients with "in house" agencies.

In any case, KNBR is in the data that agencies receive to buy with, even if for the moment KNBR can not use the data to sell with.

Look again. KNBR is right above KOSF and tied with KISQ at 3.7.

I would swear that wasn't what it said yesterday ??? Could it have been revised? Either that, or I really need computer reading glasses...

It was redone because some of the data was missing.
