March comes in like a....

Every March, I remember seeing John Belushi foam up and have a seizure while describing how March behaves in other countries.

Seems there's no available recordings of this but it's always great to read the transcript.

This year I finally got around to doing my own tribute recording of this to put on my pt 15 AM.

Actually, an edited version of this routine was on Arista Records' 1976 album NBC's Saturday Night Live. (The part about the Malay Peninsula and the worm-eating fernbird was taken out, for example.)

It sounded like a Match Game question. In [name of city], March doesn't come in like a lion, it comes in like a _________.

IIRC the Belushi rant was part of the Best of John Belushi VHS tape released in the 80s. Don't know if it was ever released on DVD.

I don't think it was . . . however, the entire episode that contained this routine (from March 13, 1976) is part of the massive Saturday Night Live - The Complete First Season DVD set, so that would render moot any "compilation" types like Best of John Belushi.
