April numbers out, KRNB at #2 for another month. It is very impressive what they've been able to do with that iffy signal.
Urban One needs to move Majic to the 97.9 frequency. Put Rickey Smiley, their star personality, on the big signal in an important market.
Majic is also up on the weak 94.5 signal.
I'd ditch Hughley from afternoons, though.

May I also add that there are differences between KRNB and Majic. KRNB has a more laid-back, mellow format, while Majic is more high energy and plays more classic hip hop.
I also believe, and this is just my opinion, that people might want an alternative from current negative situation going on in hip hop with artists going back and forth with each other on these "diss songs".
