March ratings are here

I think this question is better suited for their Dallas cluster. Both of their stations have consistently underperformed against the locally owned Service stations. Is DFW a market worth trying to salvage?
I don't disagree on parting with DFW -- but iHeart, Audacy, and Cumulus are maxed out, so not sure what the trade options would be.

One can assume that their business model may be changing based on their recent moves.
One could look at the recent trade and say that WTEM was out of place in the Washington cluster, and that Radio One had been playing a never ending musical chairs in Philadelphia that never resulted in three winning formats. But the St. Louis exit was a surprise -- Radio One had the clearly superior urban pair over iHeart's offerings which have been directionless for at least 10 years.

To give up a successful duo that aligns with their mission statement to expand into the "general market" in Charlotte is a bold call. As David notes, Houston too is a growing market like Charlotte. Will be interesting to see if their cluster here grows as a result of this new angle.

Remember, the two Urban One stations bill, together, more than the Service single station. So they are getting at least half the African American targeted dollars in the market.

Did Service sell one of their properties? I thought they owned both KKDA and KRNB?
I was referring to the market leader, KKDA. The other one is a very low biller as it is a rimshot.
