Marconi Awards 2010

KLUV was nominated in two categories (Best in Format and Jody Dean & the Morning Team), but lost both. I dont' believe any nominated DFW stations/shows won.

KLUV may not have won, but I'd like to publicly state how proud I am of the KLUV team. We lost to some really strong competitors, and there's no shame in that. KLUV's team rocks it. We'll get 'em next year!

Congratulations, Peter, and everyone at KLUV! Gene & Julie from KVIL were nominated as well, but also did not win. When was the last time two morning teams from the same market were nominated? :)

Just curious... Can you please explain what "come down in the ego dept." means? What would that involve Jody doing differently?

I believe The Musers from The Ticket were nominated as well. That would be three from D/FW!
 
Reading many of the comments on this board, you'd think Dallas was one of the worst markets for talent in the nation. Guess the Marconi folks know better.

Don't tell RADIO TRUTH that D/FW had 3 Marconi nominated shows.
