2007 NAB MARCONI RADIO AWARDS
FINALISTS ANNOUNCED


WASHINGTON, DC – NAB announced today the finalists for the NAB Marconi Radio Awards honoring radio stations and on-air personalities for excellence in broadcasting. The winners will be announced on September 27 at the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show, sponsored by HD Radio, held during The NAB Radio Show at the Charlotte Convention Center.

The finalists are:

KMRY-AM Cedar Rapids, IA
KOGA-AM Ogallala, NE
KTLO-FM Mountain Home, AR
WAXX-FM Eau Claire, WI
WKDZ-FM Cadiz, KY

The Marconi award is great to look forward to. The sad thing is that a lot of the radio people these days have no clue what the Marconi award is.

I used to produce a show that won the Marconi award TWICE.
