While I'm sure Buckeye is no stranger to the usual depravities of hickdom, I am fairly certain that the title of DOCTOR and NURSE are strictly honorary. That said, DOCTOR Akbar and NURSE Jeff would be unable to perform anything beyond a routine oil change in a '76 Gremlin. That and the media hut is far from being a sterile environment.

Like the Nurse says, "it may be your watch, but only The Middle Eastern Men Of The Media can tell you the time". If your station sucks, we can un-suck it!

And yes, Nurse Jeff and I continue to monitor the growth of Beverly Kidd while wondering why the place with more estrogen stuff is the home of the D'backs? Think about it!

I figured there were no oil changes, just a semianual can of Marvel mystery oil or STP motor honey thrown into the Gremlin. I remember way back when... the KUPD Call Girl (who could get away with that these days) showcased the Levi Gremlin to be given away. Does the horn still honk every time you swing the front seat up to let a passenger in the back? Those engineers at AMC, what a sense of humor they had...and to think the marque is no more.

I also remember the prized early '70s--and I'm sure now collectable--KDKB 24 "carrot" radio poster I gave to some girl I was trying to impress. Bad move. As Riopelle says, "it was all for a woman"

Groening would be proud of you guys. Hope to see the media hut someday, just stay away with the scalpel.
