I just heard Maria Todd announce on MIX 965 that she will be returning to Houston mornings beginning February 22. She said she could not mention who would be with there due to legal reasons, but it does not take too much imagination to guess who that will be. Is Michelle Fisher going away, or staying as a sidekick?

How will Sam & Maria version 2.0 do almost 17 years since they started?

Can't be Sam Malone if they are waiting for a non compete to conclude. He has already been on the air at KSEV so what would stop him from re-uniting with Maria Todd today if he was the secret? I think it will be Atom Smasher reuniting with the Toddster. I kid you not.

Hmm...is her co-host a market vet or someone that has name recognition nationally, or are we getting a "who?" for Mix mornings?

Because there are no other great talents available! It's 2010, not 1999! I'm sure she's a nice person and all, but Houston needs some FRESH talent.

Hey, bring back Lander! He's still a talented guy.

Kind of ironic that Atom is at Hot 96/Evansville with rampant speculation he's coming to Mix to work with Maria. The Hot 95.7 morning show was hired from Evansville...same station!

Houston is market #6, population about 4.8 million. Evansville is market #163, population about 260 thousand. Is CBS cheaping it out by hiring from Evansville??? I'm all for giving fresh talent a break. The proof is in the pudding. The Hot Evansville to Hot Houston show isn't doing anything! So even though Atom has been here before, his morning performance in the past didn't make inroads either. What would make the programming geniuses at Greenway think Atom and/or Maria with anyone will make a difference?
