Sixties singer Marianne Faithful has died:

Marianne Faithfull, British singer and actress whose hits included ‘As Tears Go By,’ dies at 78

The singer, songwriter and actress was one of the most prominent female voices of the 1960s British Invasion.

Her best-known song was As Tears Go By, which was also recorded by the Rolling Stones. The song was written by Mick Jagger & Keith Richards. At the time, Faithfull was in a relationship with Jagger. When once asked what was the first song he & Mick ever wrote together, Keith replied "As Tears Go By."

She was one of my 80's favorites as well, played her songs regularly. Didn't know she was still recording into the 2000's. I will miss her
