When are the M's going to realize this rotation of broadcasters is a joke, and just give the job to Ken Wilson? My gawd, I had to listen to Dave Valle read PSAs the other night, and it was downright painful.

The radio broadcasts have now become a metaphor for the play on the field: mediocre.

I think they should put Steve Sandmeyer & Blowers together on the radio and have Sims & Rizzs on the TV side.
Sandy is solid PBP wise, he knows the team, is passionate for the team, Blowers would work well with him and I think they'd have awesome chemistry.

A big no to Sandmeyer on the broadcast. Too high pitched whiny and smart ass. But at least he's not as bad as David Locke was. That man was the most annoying on radio ever.

I enjoy Ken Levine's work, but I don't hear him often enough.

Ken Levine. IMHO, he has sort of a Vin Scully aura. Yes? No?

I like GenX's suggestion. I think Sandmeyer is a talented guy. He and Blow would have good chemistry.

Ken Levine is a good announcer, but Ken Wilson is a rare, old-school-kinda-guy find. My pick would be Rizzs/Wilson on the radio, and stay with Simms/Blowers on the TV side.

How about Sandmeyer on the field for TV? The bar is certainly low enough with AA & Jen. Or, post-game with Krueger instead of Brad Adams.

With Niehaus in the booth, the shortcomings of others could be overlooked. With his passing, it's glaringly obvious that this cobbled-together rag-tag team isn't cutting it. The chance was missed to start all over. I'm not sure what the answer is - most of you are more knowledgeable - but I really grow tired of the endless "in" stories;, the loud, forced, wheezy laughter; the amateurish sideline or clubhouse reporting ...

I agree. Time for a change ... on radio AND TV.

I was watching the M's game Monday night on Root Sports while bowling in my Monday night league. When it came to the post game show---What was Jen Mueller thinking when she picked out her earrings? They were so large and dangly and really took away from her and the M's stories she was doing. Is it just me? Or were they a BIG distraction. I mentioned it to some friends of mine also watching and they couldn't believe she was wearing them either. Fine IF she was on radio, but NOT when you're on TV....

I agree just name Ken Wilson the guy and move on. The late great Niehaus should be respected, but it is now time to move on with a regular broadcast team. Oh, and it is now time to create a contender as well.

The same people who are signing the average at best ball players are cutting the checks for the guys in the booth, it shouldn't be a shock that they can do either very well....

There is a reason why the Seattle Mariners are the only team in the American League to never play a World Series game, try signing a decent player to a team with that hanging over their head....

They are owned by a Japanese Billionaire who is older than dirt and couldn't even manage to go watch his baseball team when they played in his own country....

And now they are all Butt Hurt because the city has fast tracked the new Arena Deal in hopes of luring the Maloufs to bring the Kinds to town since Sacramento's planned Arena fell thru.....
