Nice to see she in is better health, but I thought Finneran had Phyllis Diller as a co-host this morning when I tuned in.
 
She was never easy to listen to. Really bad set of pipes - certainly not good for radio.

That said, I too am glad that she is out and about and wish her well.
 
Yeah, someone on Free Republic mentioned hearing her "cackle" etc.

Remember when she was on Sunday nights doing a show on Lifetime? For awhile,
you could find TWO big-haired, raspy voiced Marges on Sunday night (the other
of course being Mrs. Homer Simpson on Fox). Howie used to have a jingle referring to
this show that said, in part, "Her ratings are so low/More people watch the NASA Channel"

I would rather listen to finger nails scraped on a blackboard than hear her voice. Her views are pathetic as is her diction and grasp of the language. She must have missed the part of 7th grade when nomanitive and objective case were taught.

All of that said, as a human being, I'm happy that she is well.

It is so easy to log on to this site and bash people. I think we forget that the people you are talking about are hard working human beings that now more than ever are in a very tough business. Marjorie may have been fighting for her life...can we please show alittle bit of compassion.

Sadly...bandman...this is the way the business has become! The moment somebody makes an attempt to get back on his or her feet...and in Marjorie's case it's BACK ON THE AIR...there's always somebody ready to verbally pull the chair out from under her the moment she attempts to sit down!

true! Not the best voice. And I don't always like her politics, either. A bit too centrist for my liking :D

Just because she was sick and hopefully recovered doesn't mean I can't express my dislike for her radio talent or lack thereof.

The woman just came back from the verge of death....and you think it's important to express your dislike for her?
