I've listened to both and like them both, but I'm curious what people think is the superior morning show?

Mark and Cindy or Jim and Kim?

Jim and Kim hands down. Though I always found Mark likable, I preferred him back in the David Weiss/Susan Murphy era. The Breakfast Club has become so contrived and repetitive, and their traffic reports have tanked completely (in the afternoons, too, though KT Mills is as good as ever). And I'd so much prefer Al Lewis or Scott Miller filing in, instead of a "Best of..." rerun. At least they're still better than WBLI, which I thought gave them a run for their money when Steve and Maria were there. I find Jim and Kim natural and likable, and would prefer their company (despite guest appearances by Denise Flaim of Newsday). How many shows talk about books they've read recently?
I also like B-103 in the morning, Chaz & AJ from CT, and WLNG anytime.

The WALK Breakfast Club is a shell of its former self. Since Weiss, Murphy and now Buckley are gone (sadly there is not much that can be done about Buckley), the show has lost the depth it once had and is so vanilla. It used to sound very engaging, thought out and entertaining. Now it's just American Idol chatter and Snow Patrol records.

I have to chime in here. Mark and Cindy rarely discuss American Idol. Jim and Kim however have recaps after every show.
Who cares? As far as the ratings go, JIm and Kim couldn't shine Mark and Cindy's shoes. Bot shows are safe and boring. Who cares about American Idol updates. I'm just guessing, that the people who care, saw the show the night before. If not, they're punching out because they have it on Tivo and plan on watching it when they get home. A chimp can do that kind of crap. Both shows are one big love fest. You're right...no you're right...no you're right...hey...we're both right, now let's go save some kittens. Puke!

I think the reason why the WALk show does a lot better is because if their 39,000 watts comming out of about the center of Long Island which covers all of it. KJOY is only putting out 3,000 out of Hempstead, which does not give them the broad coverage that WALK has.
Gotta be honest... Miss those Susan Murphy with News and David Weiss with sports. It was a show you really missed if you didn't listen to. The "two guys in the sky" thing was great too. Head over heels better than now. But alas, all good things come to an end.
