That was just Don Barrett getting "creative" with his headlines. All he did was reprint a column from the OC Register's Sunday edition where Kim Amidon answered some of what was said in earlier articles by Mark Wallengren. Basically she said that women are treated like second class citizens at CC because whoever replaces her won't make as much money as she did. She and Mark made the same wage and since she was canned because they're cutting costs it should go without saying that her replacement won't earn anything close to what she was paid... All Access has picked up the story now as well.
