Mark Asher Leaves KTAR!

Announced at 1:00 PM that Mark Asher of the Gambo & Ash Show on Sports 620 KTAR could not come to terms with a new contract and is no longer on the station.

John Gambodoro will remain. Dave Burns will take Asher's place. The show will be known as the Gambo & Burns Show.

This breaks up possibly the Valley's most popular sports team. Gambo & Ash worked together for 11 years on KMGE and KTAR.

I wuz robbed!

I didn't work on 1 April so I forgot about April Fools Day. When I heard the announcement from John Gambodoro and Dave Burns, I really thought Mark Asher left the station. I should have known better when Gambo said KTAR was going to leave Ash's e-mail address open for the weekend.

How embarrassing!
